Why: To recognize Health-Smart Holistic Health (HSHH) Program for Seniors progress, Dr. Carolyn Tucker, Program Director and Principal Investigator, and the HSHH Team will share research results from Year 1, participants will give testimonials about the impact on the program on their lives, and share a preview of what’s to come in Year 2. Humana Foundation’s six-figure grant to the University of Florida supports the Health-Smart Holistic Health Program for Seniors, aims to address the problems of social isolation, food insecurity, and financial insecurity in the Jacksonville community.
Invitees: All Year 1 participants and the HSHH Team, Year 2 team members, community leaders, special guests and the press. All participants will receive a Health-Smart tee shirt.
